Federal Way featured by Medena Keyian
Medena Keyian is a medical professional living in Federal Way with her husband, their 2-year-old son and two dogs. While she had found her work as a dialysis technician fulfilling in many ways, she still longed for a creative and artistic outlet. This is what led her to pursue photography as a side career.
She loves photographing her son playing with their dogs, her husband playing his guitar, and friends commemorating special events, but what is so special about Medena is that she also uses her talent to help those around her. Throughout the rest of the year, she is donating 50% of her photography proceeds to a friend battling breast cancer.
Things She Loves about Federal Way
Federal Way is full of beautiful parks and schools that are perfect for exploring and getting some exercise. One of her favorite schools she likes to visit during her walks with her son is Brigadoon Elementary. It has lots of hilly areas perfect for running, basketball courts, sand area, and a cute playground.
The best view of Federal Way, taken from the top of the transit center. It may not look like much, but I love that Federal Way is constantly growing and evolving. We have a great movie theater with comfy seating and numerous tasty restaurants to satisfy any cravings, not to mention a good sized shopping center and several retail stores. Check out the cool clock and beautiful sunset. When the skies are clear, you can see Mt. Rainier among the many trees.
